How to Create and Apply Vouchers

Overview

Vouchers are redeemable codes that give a customer a discount at checkout — handy for promotions, loyalty or goodwill.

Steps

1. Create a voucher with its code, value and validity dates.
2. Share the code with the customer.
3. At POS or checkout, enter the voucher code to apply it.
4. The discount is deducted from the order total.

Tips

• Set an expiry date so old promotional codes cannot be reused indefinitely.
