Cheques

The Checks section lets you write, print and track cheques, including MICR-encoded printing.

Step-by-step: write a cheque

  1. Go to Accounting > Checks (https://dashboard.kmmvgroup.org/admin/accounting/checks).
  2. Click New Check.
  3. Select the bank account the cheque is drawn on.
  4. Choose the payee (vendor) and enter the amount — the amount-in-words fills automatically.
  5. Set the cheque number (use Get next number) and date.
  6. Click Save.

Step-by-step: print cheques

  1. Configure your cheque layout under Checks > Configure Checks.
  2. Select the cheques to print and click Print / Download to get the PDF.

Voiding a cheque

Open a cheque and choose Void. Voided cheques stay in the register for audit but no longer affect balances.
